1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs how Webs.ie's website, infrastructure and services may be used. It applies to clients, visitors and anyone interacting with our AI assistants and forms.

2. Prohibited Content

  • Illegal content, including infringement of intellectual property rights.
  • Content promoting violence, terrorism, self-harm or exploitation.
  • Hate speech or harassment targeting protected characteristics.
  • Sexually explicit content, in particular any content depicting minors.
  • Deliberate disinformation or manipulated media presented as authentic.
  • Malware, phishing or spam distribution infrastructure.

3. Prohibited Activities

  • Attempting to compromise, probe or reverse-engineer our systems.
  • Automated scraping, bulk account creation or abusing our forms and AI endpoints.
  • Resale, sublicensing or rebranding of our services without a written agreement.
  • Using our platform to attack, impersonate or defraud third parties.
  • Bypassing rate limits, security controls or access restrictions.

4. Responsible AI Use

Our AI concierges and agents are designed to assist, not to replace human judgement. Clients must:

  • Keep a human in the loop for decisions that materially affect users.
  • Disclose when users are interacting with an AI assistant.
  • Honour opt-outs and data deletion requests from their own users.
  • Avoid feeding our assistants personal data beyond what is strictly required.

5. Fair Use

Our infrastructure is shared. Exceptional load, sustained automated use or activity that degrades service for other clients may be throttled or, in extreme cases, suspended.

6. Reporting Abuse

If you believe this policy is being violated, please email abuse@webs.ie with as much detail as possible. We review every report.

7. Enforcement

  • Warning with opportunity to correct.
  • Removal of non-compliant content.
  • Temporary suspension pending investigation.
  • Permanent termination for severe or repeated violations.
  • Notification of authorities where legally required.

8. Changes

We may update this AUP as the service evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, communicated to clients directly.
